This young patient suffered from a complete facial paralysis on the right side. Professor Gassner used a nerve correcting procedure (Orthodromer Temporalistransfer) at the corner of the mouth to correct the impairment. The surgery meant a more symmetrical result and an ability to actively raise the corner of the mouth.
